Eva Ensmann

Eva Ensmann and her husband, Matthew Zook, have lived on Fayette Park since 2002. They have three children, Maara, Rein and Siiri and greatly enjoy the neighborhood and cultural amenities that come with living in the Northside.  Eva became a NNA Board Member in 2012 and was the Chair for the 2013 and 2015 NNA Historic House and Garden Tours.

Before relocating to Lexington, Eva worked in the field of city planning for years including stints in the cities of Charlottesville, VA, San Francisco, CA and San Pablo, CA, ultimately shouldering the role of planning director for San Pablo.

Proud of her Estonian heritage and eager to pass along the language and culture, she directs an Estonian summer camp every summer as well.  Eva is also the founder and facilitator for an on-line support group, BMT Caregivers from CCHMC who lost a Child/Children.  In addition to running around with her children, she enjoys pitching in and helping out wherever she is most needed.  She is looking forward to serving the neighborhood on this board and making the Northside a better place to live.
